We're a group of World of Warcraft gamers who like to group with other skilled players. We play in various Alliance guilds on the Silver Hand server. We're called Casual Raiders because the attitude amongst our members is one of casual friendship and mutual respect. We have members from all over the world, but our scheduled raids usually start around 8pm Server Time.
Generally, we function like a guild geared for raiding. Members should be generous with each other and treat each other with respect. Members are expected to act in a mature fashion, and be open to new ideas. Friendliness takes priority over skill...we can teach members to play better, but we can't make someone be friendly.
In the end, we're playing a game...and we have fun while doing it. |

Tonight's Sunwell Plateau raid featured my newly favorite fight in World of Warcraft...Kalecgos. Our first night with some serious face-time, and we redeemed him! Amirill walked away with a Dragonscale-Encrusted Longblade, and Iphi, Mistwynd, and Nyka won Tier 6 bracers! Awesome fight, can't wait to do it again! 
For the Kalecgos fight, we're going to need Arcane Resist gear (~120 buffed)! Not much, just the trinket from the KZ questline and an enchanted Cloak of Arcane Evasion. The cloak is a crafted item by tailors with Lower City rep and takes (4x Bolt of Imbued Netherweave, 3x Primal Mana, 3x Primal Life, 2x Netherweb Spider Silk). The enchantment requires 4x Large Prismatic Shards and 8x Primal Mana.
We finally decided!!! The official CR meet ups will be at
9pm Friday at Downtown Disney, between Haagen Dazs and Wetzle's Pretzles (near the center)

8am Saturday at IHOP at 1560 S Harbor Blvd (about 1/2 mile from convention center) (714) 635-0933.

Anyone who wants to meet/hang out before the festivities begin on Friday can meet up just inside the main intrance to the right (where Illidan was last time). A big group of people wearing CR shirts can't be too hard to find:)
Just for clarification, there is NO meet up planned at 4:30 anymore.

Due to the cost of maintaining a ventrilo server, I've decided to change Ventrilo Hosting Companies. Find the new ventrilo information here
 That's right! Iphi threw together a team of 10 Casual Raiders (not including herself!) and together they were able to beat the Zul'Aman timed event, and Lacus found a bag with an Amani Bear Mount inside! (Lacus is apparently the only one who could keep up with the crazy gnome mage that ran all over the place after being set free). Big Grats to Lacus and the team that showed that we could do it! 
Awesome guys, we beat Illidan! We've had our week or two of reprieve after going all out for a month. Time to get back to raiding.
I urge everyone who was present for the Illidan kill to sign up and help out on Black Temple...there are many CRs who were essential to our success in Black Temple who have not defeated Illidan yet. I would like to get everyone in on an Illidan kill before we proceed with our raiding schedule.
